Chalky PVA:

  • Remove chalkiness by high pressure water washer at 180 Bar with a rotating nozzle or ProGold General Purpose Cleaner/water mixture (1:10) and a nylon scrubbing brush.

  • Too much penetration can occur, thus no bonding takes place on the surface and would require further coats.
  • Product must not be applied to leave a varnish-like surface and then recoated.
  • Product must penetrate the surface to be bonded and thus it must be applied directly to the plaster.
  • Cannot be used on enamel finishes or steel.
  • The product has poor UV resistance, so it should be overcoated.

  • Cannot serve as a primer for Prominent Stoep Enamel or Prominent 2-Pack epoxies.
