Novolite is a unique, thin medium density fibreboard developed for the furniture and craft industries. Novolite is unique amongst thin boards in that it has two fine textured hard surfaces. Coupled with excellent physical and mechanical properties the result is a flat, stable board ideally suited to painting, staining, grain printing and laminating.

Thickness tolerance: ±0,2mm
cutting and machining
Tungsten Carbide or diamond tipped cutting blades are recommended for high quality work. Cutting tools should have higher clearance angles. However, standard saws will always give a smoother finish to Novolite than other wood products.

When manufactured, Novolite has 6% – 8% moisture content.
